Grainne Dutter is a documentary filmmaker from Waco, Texas. She graduated from Colorado State University in May 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Communication. Grainne directed Pop Punk Grandma, a short documentary about a beloved Northern Colorado woman who handcrafts custom quilts for touring bands, becoming an unexpected icon in the region’s pop-punk scene. In addition to her directing work, Dutter worked with Barnfly Productions under John Barnhardt beginning in June 2024 and served as a camera operator on the film Above the Net. She continues to develop documentary projects that spotlight overlooked voices and the communities that shape them.
